Grantspro Applications Now Closed
Today we noticed that the Google team had suspended the Grantspro application.
As most of you would be aware, Google had been offering an additional $30,000USD to eligible charities and non-profits. who meet a certain criteria, including:
- Conversion Tracking
- Hitting the budget cap 2 months out of 6
- Maintaining a 1% CTR
- Completing an application and use case for increase
- Bi-weekly optimisation of the account
- Ongoing relationship with Google including survey participation
It’s not clear why the applications have been paused at this stage, however a similar pause took place in 2013 with applications for the Grantspro program opening a year later in 2014 which enhanced criteria.
All existing accounts will be grandfathered according to Google and for accounts operating on the normal Google Grant program, its a permanent hold for now so make the most of the spend.
